Destiny Strudwick is a New York City-based cultural critic and model signed to Joseph Charles Viola. She writes short stories and poetry, and you’ll soon find her first series published in Uncensored New York (subscribe to their Patreon to make sure you see it)! Strudwick also makes some very sick clothing, but only for herself. She’s trying to bring Tumblr back with nycbender.tumblr.com and you can check out her Instagram, but she tells me she’s trying to avoid her phone and wants to get a flip phone because the pics are better. White Hanes Thermal Long Johns
I used to wear them under jeans but now I wear them without anything else almost daily. Friends tell me I look insane but I likey and I think everyone should embrace looking and being insane anyway. I like to wear them with my railroad boots, or if I am feeling pretty, I will wear them with thick white socks and some cute pumps. Add a wife beater tank top and a blazer and you'll look totally insane but definitely interesting which means fuckable.

Brooklyn Fashions on Broadway
One of my favorite thrift stores in my neighborhood. I always end up leaving with an entirely new wardrobe, it’s so fucked up. Very good for shoes and accessories. The lady who runs the place eats caribbean food that she makes at home and it makes me jealous because it smells so yum-yum but I like to haggle prices with her. She’s very unfriendly to everyone besides me. I like that.

East Village Shoe Repair
So OK, the East Village Shoe Repair is not in the East Village, it’s in Bushwick. So that’s funny. The two dudes who own this spot are absolute characters with such good stories if you can understand what they’re saying through their heavy Russian accents. I sometimes go in there just to sniff shoe glue with them. It gets you violently high, it’s cool. They’re not that good at fixing shoes though because of the shoe glue so don’t bring anything too important to them. They’re not bad by any means, just high. Go to the city for that shit. However, they do platforms nicely!

Egyptian Magic
Yo, if you dry like me on le face just like put that shit all over your face and neck every night and you're golden. Very good heavy moisturizer for winter. Good for burns and shit too. My lover recently said it was nice to put on his chafing nut sack.

Dating Models
Just do it. If you’re in New York there’s so many models I don’t understand why you wouldn’t find a nice one and just settle down. Also people stare at you and say things like “beautiful couple” all the time, it is cool!

Less is more. Do not color your hair unnatural colors unless you smoke crack sometimes (which is totally fine but these are the rules!). Boys should have short hair, girls should have long hair. This is known.
