Eileen Kelly is a writer, sex educator, social media darling, and all-around really cool person. Sheโ€™s the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Killer and A Sweet Thang, a platform and resource for young people to learn about sex, love, health, identity, and being online. And sheโ€™s the host of Going Mental, a podcast about mental health where she talks to a wide range of people such as Ali Michael, Kilo Kish, Vic Mensa, Madison Beer, Caroline Calloway, and even Michael Cohen. Eileen has great taste and lucky for us, sheโ€™s here to tell us what sheโ€™s been into.

She is my best hidden secret in NYC for facials and waxing. I've followed her to three locations now. I take my skin very seriously and have gone to many different salons and facialists, including some of the fanciest ones, and no one compares to my girl. I love that she is a one-woman show. She's Hungarian and brings many of her products back from Europe, peels and things you can't get in the US. She only uses hard organic beeswax which I love. She keeps me blemish free and fresh faced.

When I was younger, I wanted to be an interior designer. I even studied at Parsons for Interior Design in the summers while in high school. While I left that career choice behind, one my favorite hobbies is decorating my own home. Most of my furniture is second hand from places like Chairish or Etsy. I love finding cheap pieces and reupholstering them if I need to. I moved into my new apartment during covid and repainted the entire thing. I painted the bathrooms, my bedroom, and even my kitchen cabinets. I feel like making it a home is very important to me even though it's a rental!

I am obsessed with my electric tea kettle. I even got rid of my stove top one. I am a tea drinker, not a coffee girl. I usually like an english black tea (tetleys) with a splash of whole milk in the morning. I love being able to just press a button and go about my routine and the water heats up so much faster than a traditional kettle and turns off automatically. This is my favorite kitchen gadget.

Family owned candle and soap shop in Maine. I probably have 20 of their candles. My favorites are Mainely Manly which smells like woodsmoke and Forest Primeval which smells like an evergreen forest. I love woody, smokey scents. They make a space feel so inviting and sexy.

I buy most of my clothing second hand. I love designer vintage clothing. I'm very into the 80s right now. I try to visit local vintage stores when I'm traveling, even if it's the local goodwill on a road trip. I'm kind of a hoarder.. I'm embarrassed by how many clothes I have and it's hard for me to get rid of them. Saying that, I can tell you where I got each piece and each one usually has a memory attached to it. Vintage shopping in Rome has got to be my favorite, you can get some awesome deals and I'm obsessed with Italian fashion. I love animal print, feathers, and sequin.
