Alan Resnick

Alan Resnick is a Los Angeles-based comedian and filmmaker. My introduction to Alan’s work was through iconic Adult Swim’s Infomercials like Unedited Footage of a Bear. From there I discovered alantutorial, his informative and experimental YouTube tutorial series, where I learned some survival skills and a life-saving bean bag breaking technique. While there’s plenty of overlap, perhaps a shared absurdist umbrella, you never know quite what you’ll get from an Alan Resnick project. He’s able to produce surreal comedy, disturbing horror, or both simultaneously.
