Andy Shauf is a Toronto-based singer and songwriter. He gained recognition with his 2016 concept album The Party – an intricate tale that follows a cast of characters over the course of a house party – and has since continued to tell stories through his beautifully arranged, self-written, self-recorded, and self-produced music. Andy is also a member of the Canadian quintet Foxwarren, alongside Avery and Darryl Kissick, Colin Nealis, and Dallas Bryson. The band’s second album, 2, was released on ANTI- at the end of May. Foxwarren will hit the road this August, supporting Waxahatchee on a run of dates before headlining shows throughout the fall. Lucky for us, Andy’s here to tell us what he’s been into.
