Washi masking tape from Japan. It is SO high up on my travel packing, and general living, list. There aren’t enough emojis for all. The. Uses.

From I don’t know how many years ago. Their retail space in my suitcase is considerable, but I remain faithful to them. They are taupe / mushroom and manage to work any time of year bar peak Summer.
Makes every hotel room feel more warm and inviting. Also, I’m like a baby, I like a night light. Side note, I am definitely a frustrated lighting designer.

Japanese horseradish. The real stuff, not the fake stuff. If you’ve never tried it, you’re missing out. Yashin Ocean House in Chelsea, London take it wonderfully seriously!

Social media serves a smorgasbord of delicious Bowie snippets. He’s so cool, human, accessible, unreachable, iconic.

Compulsive doodler? In certain situations, I totally am one! In fact, all is better with one’s preferred writing tool and paper, for countless reasons. Expressive writing, lists, more lists, love notes, post-it notes, letters, lyrics, on and on. No matter how small my bag is, I feel more complete with a pen and paper.
Designed by a father so his kids could take photos on camping trips without being distracted by phones. View-finder only, perfectly imperfect resolution. Digital, eventually. Old school look, feel and sound. Everyone smiles when they use it.

I’m so proud of this company and all our products. Pink, white, bubbles, no bubbles, alcohol, zero alcohol. All so good and I love orchestrating stealth Kylie Wine surprise gifting. Knock knock!

This mic has been like an extension of me for the last few years. I started self recording during lockdown and have never looked back. I graduated to this beauty and have cared for it with so much love as it is my portal to a song, to the vocals that will forever be out there. That, and also, it is truly a thing of beauty. I have become that person who wants to talk mics and kit.

I’m a serial monogamist when it comes to t-shirts. Whichever one has made it out of hiding, it tends to be ’the one’ for seemingly ages until, for whatever reason, it changes. And then, that one is ’the one’. The current ‘one’ is an oldie: Keith Haring for Cotton On (Iconic Aussie brand). Pale pink, big and baggy. Note to self - don’t ruin or lose.
