Lynette Nylander is a London-raised and New York-based content + creative director, consultant, and writer. Her career has encompassed positions at Dazed, Teen Vogue, and CR Fashion Book, and currently, she serves as the fabulous executive digital director of Harper’s Bazaar. Lynette is also the host of Sounds & Style podcast, which features guests like Mel Ottenberg (#245) and Lily Allen, and explores the links between music and fashion. A creative force with extensive style expertise like Lynette is bound to have some great recommendations, and lucky for us, she’s here to tell us what she’s into.

She has substance and style and I am excited to welcome Climax to NYC when she opens a Manhattan outpost soon.
Another thing to do in the city, but Grant actually is someone who KNOWS what he’s talking about. Also it’s in the best building on a lovely street in the West Village that hasn’t been taken over by TikTokers.

Nothing makes me nostalgic for my childhood like doing this. It makes me remember when I was so carefree. Also the fashion was ON POINT and all of these Black women are still so beautiful and fabulous.
Jen is the ULTIMATE IYKYK girl. She is THAT girl. She walked so all girls who like Chanel flats can run. On a real, she is so wonderful and sweet, checks in on me a bunch and so grateful to know someone so cool who I used to fangirl on Tumblr. 😛

This has probably been recommended before but my morning/nightly bath keeps me sane. I watch TV, talk on FaceTime (to those who deserve it ;)) and come up with great ideas. I recommend getting some Japanese bath salts and Buly shower gel in there to sweeten the deal.

A sleepy upstate enclave that has become a little bit of a sanctuary for me. Find me there this summer where I am gonna try trout fishing for the first time and overcome my fear of ticks.
