Joon Gloom (aka MsGloom) is a Los Angeles-based artist. Behind a music project that encompasses a hardboiled, cartoonish world with its own characters (see: Mr. Gloom), she's doing something super distinct, and we're big fans. Releasing music since 2024, she's collaborated with some of our favorites, appearing on a Varg²™ record and delivering a remix for Woesum. Her debut mixtape, J is for Joon came out at the end of February, and her NYC album release show is TONIGHT at Night Club 101 (sold out, so hopefully you snagged a ticket). Lucky for us, MsGloom’s here to tell us what she’s been into.

I was doing a toe touch stretch in my kitchen a few months ago and saw the underside of my table for the first time. I hung out there for a while and really looked around. Now I like to hang upside down in other places too - it makes the familiar look unfamiliar and it makes me feel like nothing really matters. It also makes me feel like the vampire from the movie, The Little Vampire. He was my first crush ever
