MUNA is a Los Angeles-based band consisting of Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson. It’s been four years since the release of their third, self-titled album, MUNA, and now the alt-pop trio is back with their fourth record, Dancing on the Wall, arriving this May. The titular single dropped this week, so be sure to tune in. The band will celebrate with release shows in Los Angeles, New York City, and London this May, with dates and tickets available here. I have almost strictly read nonfiction for years. As such, I had forgotten that reading a book could be….just experiencing a really nice story. You don’t have to take notes, you can just read a book like ‘Stoner’ by John Edward Williams, which is about a guy who only makes bad decisions and only bad stuff happens to him as a result. I just finished that & I’m gonna do the ‘My Brilliant Friend’ series next, so no spoilers. Shoutout to John Early who got me both of those for my bday from Stories in Echo Park. -Naomi
