Myha’la
Logo

Myha’la is a New York City-based actress who gained recognition in the last few years from her role as Harper Stern on one of the best (yet still underrated) TV shows, HBO’s Industry. The finale is this weekend, so if you’re not already watching, this is your sign to catch up! You might also know her from the hilarious 2022 thriller Bodies Bodies Bodies or from Netflix’s Black Mirror. You can catch her in the recently announced film They Will Kill You, starring alongside Zazie Beetz and Patricia Arquette, or on season three of Industry, airing currently. She also tells us she’s engaged (congrats Myha’la!🫶) Lucky for us, Myha’la’s here to tell us what she’s been into.

Love LOVE this app. I love food- good food. And I’ve got my spots in NY but when I’m traveling, this app is a god sent to help me find new restaurants to try! Absolutely saved me when I was working and living in LA for the first time this summer.

Speaking of food, my new favorite spot in the west village is Nami Nori. For my sensitive tummy girlies out there, this is an entirely gluten free restaurant! Yes, entirely. Even the fried things (fried oyster)

If there’s other gluten free sensitive tummy girlies out there, do you have any recs in BK or lower Manhattan to share??? Xx

One of my favorite independent vintage shops in NYC! Lead by Olivia, this is a no fuss vintage shop that’s always got amazing hidden gems at decent prices. Olivia has great taste! My fave pony hair Miu Miu handbag is an Olivia find. A must visit if you’re near the East Broadway Mall!

Sorry, I know more food, but what is better than a good meal?? Nothing!! So after you dine at Nami Nori, stop next door at their sister bakery Post Card. An ALL GLUTEN FREE JAPENESE BAKERY. Need I say more? Enjoy :)

I don’t like wearing makeup, in fact even at work where I’m required to wear makeup for camera I do my best to convince them not to put it on me! So when I tried the Armani Luminous Silk collection I was pleasantly surprised! They have a color match for me, which is tough as a mixed baby, and the coverage is sheer and light but buildable and it never looks or feels cakey! My face feels as naked as I wish I was :) love

I started reading this book called Seeking The Heart of Wisdom which is about meditation and how to bring meditating into your every day life. It’s really helped me calm tf down! Every morning I take a few minutes just think set my intentions for the day, or goals for the week or month or even the year! Helps me stay grounded. highly recommend!!
