my best friend taught me this insanely simple card game called kings corner that has somehow taken over my life. it’s so fun and I literally have dreams about playing it.

Blythe dolls
my friend Petra gifted me a custom Blythe doll inspired by the music video we did for “bad idea, right?” I’ve always been obsessed with dolls and miniature things and this little object brings me so much joy. I recently went to Japan and found a store full of them and became even more obsessed.

english breakfast tea
I don’t usually drink coffee and this year I’ve been almost exclusively drinking english breakfast tea with a splash of milk. it makes me feel very refined and very cozy at the same time. and coincidentally it always tastes better when you’re actually in England. I don’t make the rules.

Kaldi Coffee in Pasadena
This is one of my favorite cafes in the world. It’s right across from a beautiful park that turns all orange and gorgeous in the fall. It has bomb drinks and sandwiches. I used to come and study here all the time when I was in high school. Cherry on top is they filmed some scenes from ladybird here… first time I went I def recreated one of the timothée chalamet shots.

zen in the martial arts
I’m not into martial arts whatsoever but my therapist recommended me this book and it changed my life. so many great lessons I use daily in my career and life. there’s this one chapter about the author not being able to do high kicks and how he learned to make it an advantage for himself that I think about often. I’m totally butchering the explanation but you should def read it.
