For today's spotlight, we're featuring Liam, @26GIRLS. Liam consistently delivers fresh, distinctive recommendations. He also drops some knowledge in his recs, one that really resonated with me is: "maturing is using the block button instead of giving people the attention they want." That is real as hell. "I am a musician based in Colorado, with a deep love for all types of different genres and
subcultures. I was drawn to pi.fyi because it reminds me a lot of how the internet used to feel,
when normal people would post more “authentically” and were less worried about appearances."
What does taste mean to you?
To me, taste is the accumulation and development of one’s identity based on subconscious responses to the things we experience in our lives. We’re inundated with new sights, sounds, and feelings every day - when something elicits an impactful, emotional response, it builds your taste and ultimately makes up who you are as a person.
How do you choose a moment that’s worthy of recommendation?
In my case, something is worthy of recommendation when I find it outstanding or remarkable in some way. It can be something reliable that I come across often, or it could be something that I only encounter once - if it’s exceptional, I’ll recommend it. It doesn’t necessarily have to be positive either - sometimes a rec is a criticism, rather than a cosign.
Which pi.fyi user should be featured next?
I would love to see a feature with either @HAYDENAUGUST or @TSUNNY. They are both witty, have great taste, and are valued members of the community.

Good Hygiene is an album my longtime collaborator Deucefade and I released recently. We worked with some of our favorite artists from all across the country and executive produced it all ourselves, I’m very proud of it.

She is the best singer I’ve heard in my entire life. Her voice is incredibly soothing and her melodies are one of a kind, every song she makes is amazing. I was lucky enough to see her perform twice this year and it was unreal.

Very underrated - last year I took an alternate route from Florida to Colorado and discovered how beautiful Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas are. Scenic routes are almost always worth the extra drive time.
