Shaad D’Souza is a London-based writer with bylines in publications like The Face, The New York Times, and The Guardian — you might have seen the incredible interview he did with Charli XCX for her The Face cover story last year. He’s currently celebrating the launch of his own magazine, Shaad Magazine, an Instagram-based publication where he, along with contributors like Sophie Kemp and Katie Crutchfield, shares advice and posts playful stories like “How to Pick an Actually Good Karaoke Song” and “How to Follow the Oscars Like a Sport.” Today, he’s hosting a super sick launch party in London (details here), and you can keep up with the magazine on his Instagram page. Lucky for us, Shaad’s here to tell us what he’s been into.

Stash by Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker’s perfume Stash is my most-re-bought perfume. I’m really sorry to my best friend Izzy for blowing up its spot here – she introduced me to it and, as has happened at least 10 times, I totally jacked her swag, bought a bottle, and started bathing in it. It’s surprisingly unisex and complex – like, extremely musky/woody. I’ve shown it to a bunch of perfume freak friends and they’re always genuinely shocked that it’s a high street perfume. It has a higher Fragrantica rating than most of my perfumes that are 5-10x more expensive. It’s a little hard to find now – maybe discontinued? – so I buy in bulk whenever I see it in a chemist.
