Alexis Krauss is a Hudson Valley-based singer and songwriter, best known as the vocalist of the noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells. Their debut album, Treats, remains a defining record of the 2010s alternative scene – “Rill Rill” and “Run the Heart” are my perennial songs of the summer. Sleigh Bells just released their sixth album, Bunky Becky Birthday Boy, on April 4th, and you can check it out here. The band is hitting the road this May and June, so be sure to snag your tickets.
