I have a love affair with Ok.Ru which to my understanding is Russian Facebook? For some reason if you search the video/photo section ok.ru has every single rare movie you could ever want to watch. It has popular ones too but I honestly have way more luck with the randoms. Two of my favorite movies Day for my Love by Juraj Herz and The Living World by Eugene Green were basically impossible for me to find anywhere but here.

Informative but also crazy poetic book on medieval history recommended to me by my BFFS dad who is a medieval historian (thanks) my fav quote-“In Stormy Skies people still saw phantom armies passing by: Armies of the Dead, said the populace; armies of deceitful demons, declared the learned, much less inclined to deny these visions than to find for them a quasi orthodox interpretation.“ So Killer.
I discovered Angela Hill the way I discover a lot of stuff now- via Instagram, she has a great, addicting ass Instagram page where she posts her photos with captions such as “The day of connection” and “The warm heart.” I appreciate avant garde IGs, and more importantly good work. I’ve also never encountered a rare book person I did not love (Angela owns rare books and publishing house “IDEA”)

This was one of my early- and actually remains my least popular rec on PI.FYI. However I could not recommend this enough. Laetita is an extremely warm and rare beauty and looking at images of her is addicting and makes me feel like I am accomplishing something even tho I am doing nothing. Her beauty basically fulfills. She’s also almost always smiling which I love. Everyone should smile more again in photos. She always looks impish and gleaming.
