For today's spotlight we're featuring Lindsay, a.k.a @LINFO formally known on PI.FYI as LNDSY. Lindsay's account is the perfect blend of artistic, silly, and thoughtful. Naturally, she's a perfect fit for our next spotlight user. More about Lindsay and what she's into, below.

My name is Lindsay and my middle name is Hope. I’m anĀ artist, friend, sister and daughter. I spend my days making things with my hands and trying to stay present. I also sometimes cackle like a witch when I am made to laugh very hard, and it’s out of my control.

What does ā€œtasteā€ mean to you?

To me, taste is what helps you recognize your kindred spirits. It is not dissimilar from preparing a metaphorical meal that you want to consume everyday, to share with a community of people and gather around a table to enjoy. Everyone has a different palette, but finding others with taste similar to yours is like finding like-minded souls who delight in the same flavors of the world around you. Maybe you meet someone who introduces you to a new ingredient that compliments your dish. My taste is a bouquet of all the spices of life that have been introduced to me over time, and it is always evolving, and becoming more delicious!

How do you choose an experience that’s worthy of recommendation (in your eyes)? Is it a recurring moment of joy, or based on a gut feeling?

The way that I share recommendations is very intuitive and a little haywire. Most of the time, I’ll have a passing thought while walking and instead of letting it escape, I will open PI.FYI. It’s like my little electronic journal, which hasn’t replaced my analog journaling practice, but has enriched it. Growing up on Tumblr and during the peak of blog culture, I have such an internalized itch to share and to send my random thoughts into the ether. It helps me notice more, and appreciate smaller details, and remember them and reflect on them more deeply later on. If someone else resonates with one of my sporadic expressions, that is always a plus. Humor is also a huge part of it, and my favorite way to foster connection.

Which PI.FYI user should we feature next?

I would love to see a @MOSSYELFIE feature. She has such a mystical, compassionate spirit and her recs, especially her reflections on motherhood, always bring me joy.

I have long been fascinated by Bosch’s body of work, and dream of one day visiting the Prado Museum in Madrid to see his renowned triptych,Ā The Garden of Earthly DelightsĀ with my own eyes. But this resource I accidentally stumbled upon one day has satisfied the craving, and then some. This interactive portal is offered by Pieter van Huystee Film, a Dutch independent production company, within which you are free to explore every last nook and cranny of this 525 year old masterpiece, cracks on the surface and all! You can take the tour, wherein a guide with a very soothing and distinguished voice leads you though key images and the motifs within the painting, or you can embark on your own and discover details and secrets at your leisure. The resolution of this interactive is absolutely mind-boggling, accompanied by sound effects and medieval-inspired musical overtures, which evolve and transform with every subject and subtle tone of the work. It is a trip, to say the least. A quest, really. I highly recommend curling up with a cup of tea and diving in. I don’t want to say more than that because I don’t want to spoil it. The sights and sounds you will behold!

Nelson denotes her love of the color blue as one of the sweetest sensations she has ever known, and after reading Bluets for theĀ thirdĀ time a couple years ago, I can say it is one of the sweetest sensations in reading I have ever known. And in this regard, sweet does not mean "sweet" at its core; this book is perfectly foul and lusty. It is unapologetic in its accounts of love and desire. It is unflinching and, to borrow more language from it, glaringly bright, even in, or precisely because of, its darkest places. Noticing blues more in your daily life is a beautiful side-effect of reading this book. I have two copies–one that I have highlighted and broken in and have lent out to people– and a hardcover copy with a beautiful embossed cover.

This one is simple. Picnicking is the number one activity I will be seeking out this summer. I want to be outside, lounge in the sun with my friends, graze on snacks, and visit local farmers markets in between to refresh and get a change of scenery. I also really want an excuse to embody Jane Birkin with her signature basket bag.

This has been one of the most formative and transformative albums to enter my little world, and it has seen me through many iterations of growth over the past 10 plus years. All of Angel’s work is stunning in its own right, and I admire her and the way she continues to experiment with her sound and new genres, but her debut albumĀ Half Way HomeĀ will forever live inside the most tender place in my heart. The control she has over her voice is mystifying; she yodels, croons, shrieks and hums. And the writing is as profound as the melodies are. I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite from the album, but some of my current favorites areĀ Safe In the Womb, Free, and You Are Song. Bonus:Ā This softly powerful performance Angel gave ofĀ MirandaĀ at Grant Street Bakery in 2012.

Like many other millennials, King of the Hill has been in my orbit for some time, but this is the first time I have set out to watch the entire series start to finish. This episode really got me. A true hysterical delight from beginning to end. Bobby Hill gets diagnosed with gout, and Peggy and Hank visit the Dallas Museum of Modern Art where a very special portrait of Hank is on display. There is romance and football. A pretty perfect episode that I can’t wait to introduce to some friends as I continue my King of the Hill renaissance. Honorable mention of course, always, to Brittany Murphy who voices Luanne Platter.
