THE FEMCELS

The Femcels are a London-based music duo made up of Rowan Miles (who also releases music as Rowan Please) and Gabriella Turton. They’re part of a burgeoning, genre-spanning London music scene that includes acts like Bassvictim and Worldpeace DMT, with Bassvictim’s Ike Clateman producing their record and Rowan appearing on Worldpeace DMT’s project The Velvet Underground & Rowan. They’ve also appeared in front of the lens of Hedi Slimane and opened for acts like Frost Children on tour. Their eclectic and unbelievably fun debut record, I Have To Get Hotter, dropped January 24, and if you can’t get enough of it, they tell us more music is on the way.
