Very particular, has very specific health needs, will only eat certain foods. Adverse to most exercise. Needs lots of sleep. If you forget its medicine it *will* die but somehow it keeps trucking. Questionable joint health.
I vet friend recommended I get this arthritis medicine for our 15/16-ish year old cat (he's a rescue we dk for sure). You have to inject it with a needle yourself which kinda freaks me out cause I don't want to miss. its also $50 a month which is not cheap but not the worst.
The results are amazing though, he has so much more energy, can jump better, plays more. Hard rec for those with 9+ yr old cats.
This is fatso (the real name she was given before me). She’s my 7 year old cat. I adopted her last year. All I know about her past is she lived in someone’s backyard with 30 other strays. Apparently she had a husband and that would fight big rats with her. If u live in small apartment and u have a busy life, getting a kitten is really tough. I recommend adopting an older cat if you would like a pet that isn’t a full time responsibility. She’s a sweet girl. She likes her distance but loves a back scratch. My home has become her home, that I also live in. We make it work.
