my favorite perfume house. yes it’s a lot of money for a tiny amount of perfume but they have great performance therefore you need less sprays and they are truly creative inspired smells in a world of endless sterile almost identical vanilla scents. and the bottles look soooo pretty. Moonmilk is my fave but they’re all noteworthy.

i love them so much and get almost all my scents from them. they have such a wide array of unique perfume oils, often historically and/or artistically inspired. they’ve got everything from gourmands to sensual to incensey and magical etc
cost effective in the sense that their smaller vials don't break the bank and last months. their biggest size runs about $90, but i think that’s more than worth it considering how long they last. a little goes a long way. not only does it take me forever to finish a bottle, but the scent lingers and projects very well! they’re also fairly generous with the samples (which i often enjoy and also last pretty long considering their size)

i’ve gotten a beloved perfume from dossier! they have a lot of imitation scents of expensive designer brands, but they also have their own originals too. you can sort the perfumes by scent and i also immediately ruled out sweet and powdery and got great options. karma is also one of my favorite scents and i found the website had some good similar things :-)

a big pet peeve I have is people complaining about not having community or only having “party friends” etc BUT are they inviting their existing friends or acquaintances to go out for dinner, go thrifting, watch tv, book club, people watch, day trip, mulberry picking? no, they are not. are they introducing their friends to each other? also not. i hate to be a clichĂ© sometimes you gotta put some work into having the relationships you long for. plus: you’re part of the problem. AND have some appreciation for the friends you have instead of focusing so much in what you don’t.

Nothing annoys me more about the American culture than the lack of enthusiasm. If I invite you to go somewhere and your answer is “sure” or “why not”, I’m taking it back. I do not wanna be surrounded by indifferent people. It’s unworthy.
