He makes his own music for his channel, he's ripped and handsome, and is very, very knowledgeable about the subject. His channel is great for the reviews, the history, and for Steve himself.

Nothing cheers me up like watching Steve joyfully indulge on nearly 100 year old field rations. The sheer delight in his voice when he comes across a couple of old cigarettes like a kid finding a prize inside a cereal box.

amc a-list and your local indie theater
the amc a-list is well-known gem, but it is really one of the best deals available, especially after the recent change they made to it. four movies a week! what! However I get sometimes you just have to go to the cinema on a budget, tickets can be expensive. STILL, support your local independent theater if you can!! at least around me there are multiple rep theaters (shoutout the coolidge theater in Boston and the Brattle in Cambridge) that constantly show old films and introduce classics to a new audience. I will die for these theaters, and I try to find a balance between using my a-list for new movies and seeing rep screenings at the indies! you can do both! I LOVE MOVIES!!!!

ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW at the studio galande
Great movie to kick off the new year, on at 9 PM on the 31st at the Studio Galande cinema in the 5th arrondissement, lots of fun and probably very nice people to meet. Come dressed up for extra fun. As a bonus, I believe it's the only theatre in the world that's been showing the movie weekly with actors since it first came out in 1975, so that's pretty cool !
