No shame here - I'm a nurse, and EXTREMELY superstitious anytime someone says something along the lines of:
"Gee, seems like a SLOW day around here..."
"Wow, it sure has been QUIET this shift..."
Basically - don't jinx anything! Even if you THINK about these statements, it's a surefire way to guarantee it'll get BUSY or LOUD reeeaaaallllyyy QUICKLY!

@BAGELLUVR444 every time i lied and called out of my old job to hang out with my best friend, she would end up suffering the affliction. food poisoning? alyssa is yakking the moment she gets home. car problems? alyssa’s battery dies next time she gets into her car. karma is listening, but i think she got us mixed up

@IMHARD yup…i try not to drink on full moons for example (one time i did despite all signs pointing to no and it was the first and only time i blacked out)

@LUCIUS to make it as simple as i can: an agender being present throughout all of us and nature. i guess what we would consider our “souls”. god got us here and keeps us going but what we decide to do is not “controlled” by them. like perhaps this is crazy to say but life itself is the “holy spirit” to me.
