i picked up minecraft again after a decade of not playing and my husband was watching me freak out and panic about getting thru the night and reminded me that i could just play on peaceful, the way the game is MEANT to be played imo 😤

I always use Vanilla Tweaks to make creepers and endermen unable to destroy blocks. Despite their marketability creepers are just an annoyance. Unfortunate that peaceful breaks a lot of farms and things like that but I'm sure there's a way to pacify enemy mobs with mods or something like that.
Lots of good gameplay improvements to be had from this website though! If you're playing on pc you should check it out! As easy as installing a texture pack.

in all my 12 years of knowing what minecraft is, not once have i considered this an option. sounds nice tbh, will try it out tonight!
