a technical non-answer, as i’m not sure if it’s the BEST song ever, but moreso, likely my favorite.
my dad used to make custom mixtapes on cds while i was growing up to play for different occasions. i had a ‘going to sleep’ mixtape, a ‘ride to the bus stop’ mixtape, a ’roadtrip’ mixtape, all of it.
love her was on one of the tapes and i had liked the song a lot but it wasn’t one that i remembered and streamed in my teen years. but then, it randomly appeared on spotify radio. i heard it and started crying. it brought back so many good memories but also sounded like the first listen all over again. so i started playing it: over, and over, and over. and it still hasn’t gotten old.

😃my mom used to play credence clearwater revival when i was in eleme school in the red 850 volvo, it wasn’t until some 3 years ago i learned one of my favorite songs was a cover by lead belly. :)

👩it’s the BEST app for limiting screentime. u can have hard locks for apps: only open them X amount of times a day, set a time limit for how long apps are open, set a daily screentime limit, etc. there’s no way of getting around it!
before i open social media apps im met with a screen that says “why am i checking?” and a list of my previous answers. i pause for 20 seconds before opening them. u can do anything; set it to give math problems or other things before opening apps!

⏰alarmy >>> normal phone alarms. u can set them to get louder, and for me i have to turn them off by doing a puzzle or typing out an affirmation. it actually gets my brain awake for the day!
