i’ve only been doing it for a couple of days but it’s a really good brain warm-up & writing exercise!!! u can keep it short & sweet & there ’s no pressure for it 2 b anything special. & it’s also fun trying to draw thematic & narrative links between such random words. it’s also helping me branch out with my starter word……. can’t have all my poems start with roast
If you like going to the movies and have a selection of AMCs near you it’s an unbelievably good deal. Even at my most destitute I have refused to cancel this membership because it’s basically a free activity anytime and a fun little date with myself. 3 movies a week for $25/month??? I will never shut up about this.
Film Forum is the OG but Metrograph is younger and hungrier, with a more diverse slate of films and an emphasis on rediscovered or neglected classics. Great atmosphere too, with a restaurant and bookstore. you can’t go wrong!
Everybody meet Tomato! (government name: Chloe) She is a very very shy but sweet little lady who is one year old. I already feel like we're kindred spirits because we both take a while to warm to people. She is currently sitting comfortably with the dust bunnies under my bed.
