Every night for the past 5-6 weeks, I’ve had the exact same dream. Here are the main themes that repeat themselves: I’m working as an Assistant Store Manager at a Burger King franchise in Paducah, Kentucky. My closing shift ends and I start shutting down the store (counting the register, locking up doors, checking inventory), when suddenly I hear a sound from the men’s bathroom. Concerned, I quietly walk into the men’s bathroom and witness something truly breathtaking: a levitating blue orb floating ~4 feet above the toilet. As soon as the orb notices me, it begins to speak in a booming voice. Please ensure that employees are practicing proper hygiene at ALL times!, the voice exclaims loudly. I acknowledge the orb’s instruction and everything fades away as I re-enter waking consciousness. After each dream, and increasingly over the past 5-6 weeks since this began, I record what I remember in my dream journal (which everyone should have). However, after ~30 journal entries, I am at a loss. I’ve never worked in the fast food industry, much less Burger King, and I’ve never even been to Paducah, Kentucky. I’ve considered calling the franchises in Paducah to warn them that I’ve been receiving revelations about their employees not practicing proper hygiene, but I’m worried that I’ll be laughed off the phone. I have to admit, it sounds a bit ridiculous. Does anyone else have experience with repeating dreams? And if so, have you taken any action for them to stop?
