I’m excited! I’m nervous! While browsing Idealist I came across a role that matches my qualifications and interests perfectly. I must be a strong applicant (or at least wrote a good cover letter), because they got back to me the day after I applied. Hopefully I’m a shoe-in, but it’s been years since I was interviewed! I’ve been on a hiring committee, so I know “fit“ matters more than any particular thing I could say in the interview—and yet! I’m nervous! I’m excited! I‘d love to hear any tips you have—particularly for mid-career interviews.
