Consumerism is inevitable. Hatefully so. But what is an item that you purchased thinking "oh, that'll be/look nice" and is now a mainstay of your wardrobe/ could never part with it/ wear it even TOO much. Mine is a blue oversized t-shirt purchased five years ago from forever twenty one emblazoned with "always ask, but don't you dare fucking tell". Cringe message, but I LIVE in it. It has many holes and is falling apart but I cannot part with it. Are such items the adult equivalent to raggedy childhood teddy bears?
