my uncle has stage 4 cancer and it’s not looking like he has much time left (maybe a week). my mom and i have been visiting him this past week (he lives across the country) so i have had time to let him know how much i love him. the only deaths i’ve experienced were my grandparents when i was 8 so i haven’t experienced grief as an adult before. does anyone have good coping tips or any ideas on how to find peace and comfort without just mindlessly distracting myself?
