I'm currently developing a reading and creative writing workshop centered around the female gothic, and houses are a very central figure for building horror in these narratives. Houses in horror in general is a topic I'm quite obsessed with, since I also really fuck with psychology and applying psychology to literary analysis. I'm really curious to read about a particular house that made you scared and why you think it did. Like, what is scary about houses, for you?
