let’s make one thing clear, i go to work because i NEED money just like everyone else, however needing money will never make me desperate to : 1. Lick someone’s boots (top managers) 2. not defending myself 3. Not requesting explanations 4. Not Ask for a better climate 5. Not Ask for a raise and more bonuses 6. Stop Making boundaries 7. Saying Yes to everything (extra work with no bonus) — Let’s say i’ m very “disliked” by my managers, telling me that i am “hard to work with“ - “you ask too much questions” - “you never compromise” - because i face them with facts and confront them when i refuse a decision for x y reason - “your email are too long” i’m very known by my emails, i document everything from the smallest inconveniences to the biggest achievements. As long as my work is done properly and i respect my shift, i will demand nothing but to be respected and be paid fairly. I stopped going above and beyond for a year now, never been happier, i do what’s asked and clock out - i don’t do free extra work - i email everything because i experienced situations where managers deny everything - i match the energy (you respect me i respect you, you disrespect me and act “superior” you will regret it).
