Megan Stalter is a Los Angeles-based actress and comedian, who you might recognize from her starring role in the HBO comedy series Hacks. She first gained attention through her stand-up and viral video posts, quickly earning praise from outlets like New York Magazine and The New York Times. Adopting Animals

The hottest new trend this fall (and every season for forever) is adopting an animal from your local shelter. There’s nothing I recommend more than falling in love with a little sweetie and changing their life (and yours) for forever. The shelters in LA have been over capacity for months and months and it breaks my heart everyday. We all know the harm in adopting from a breeder or pet store AND THERE ARE SO MANY BABIES WAITING FOR A FOREVER HOME. My daughter Bunny was a stray and now her only problem is trying to get me to go to bed when I want to stay up late (she likes to be under the covers by 9.)

Tiny Pep Talks

Two of my best friends Paula Skaggs and Josh Linden wrote a book called Tiny Pep Talks, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever laid eyes on. I knew I would love the book because Paula and Josh radiate positivity, light, and humor in ever way. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. The book is full of encouraging excerpts and motivation for things like going through a breakup or “for when you agreed to do something months ago and now it's time to actually do it.” This book is INCREDIBLE, HILARIOUS, SWEET, and cured my anxiety, which happens to be just what it's like being friends with Paula and Josh.

Fashion Brand Company

I absolutely adore the clothes from Fashion Brand Company. There’s a sense of humor about the pieces, while also somehow still being really sexy. Penelope Gazin is a genius funny chic artist, and every new thing she ever puts out I’m dying to wear. Fashion Brand Company 4ever!

Drop Dead Gorgeous

I’ll never stop talking about how funny and amazing this movie is. The cast is INSANE and every single character I could watch for hours. So incredibly funny 10000000000000/10!

The Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory is amazing because you can get pretty much anything you can think of. They have fried mac and cheese but also sweet and sour chicken but also fish tacos. If you can think of it you can order it (have you ever tried their tasting platter of different kinds of egg rolls?). If you're more health conscious they have a skinnylicious menu that's not embarrassing at all to order from. The best part is ordering a side of ranch to dip one of the two giant baguettes they give free to every table. I LOVE THE BROWN BREAD!

Catalina Island

My perfect amazing girlfriend took me on the best birthday to Catalina Island and I had so much fun snorkeling I wanted to be a marine biologist for 48 hours. Food was amazing, best ghost tour I ever went on my life, and it was so cutie to ride the ferry over. I want to live on Catalina Island, I was in a horrible mood for a week after we left.
