Max Burkeman is the New York City–based editor-in-chief of SAP Magazine. Since its inception in 2021, SAP has established itself as one of the coolest voices of the zeitgeist, consistently covering the latest and greatest underground creatives. The magazine has also sparked some sick events — from a show by untitled (halo) for the Issue 005 release, to a Jeffrey Deitch event featuring Gyeongsu’s U.S. debut performance for their most recent issue. Issue 006 is out now, with four distinct covers featuring Jerry Hsu, MIKE + Mark William Lewis, Amanda Ba, and Damsel Elysium.
