You will get daily messages from fake profiles offering to refund you via PayPal for writing a review. Sure, it's a grey area, and you might end up with a flagged Amazon account so you can't do reviews anymore, but you could also score a free $500 street bike and some more retail therapy addiction time. Not for the faint of heart or those who avoid Craigslist, but at least you know for sure now NOT to trust Amazon reviews!

Do you find anything weird on Facebook Marketplace? And why are the weird things always on Facebook Martketplace? Is there someone dig deep in doing research on this?

F*ck Meta but dang there’s nothing more wholesome than a local Facebook Group. Seeing my Brooklyn neighborhood come together to refer local joints/find a lost AirPod/give landlord advice/recommend the best loaf of bread in the neighborhood is my FAVORITE pastime.

It’s nice to log off TikTok, IG, and Twitter for a few days or a week and use much more low key socials to get a new perspective. I’ve mostly been into Letterbox and Duolingo. PYI also fits this vibe. Sipping some iced green tea on a farm in the Midwest not giving a shit about people’s online today. ❤️🔥
