I grew up listening to a lot of screamo / emo music & a lot of the bands I liked I realized in retrospect all mostly Christian bands. This one band in particular called Underoath stuck with me over the years the way a lot of the other stuff from this era hasnāt. They have this line on their song āImpact Of Reasonā that goes āNo lights, no signs, Iām at a loss for wordsā that I think is like the hardest shit ever. Iāve been thinking that the words āno lights, no signsā is going to be my next tattoo. I listen to their music in the gym a lot.

Going to the movies rocks. this was honestly such a hard question. This isnāt exactly the ~best~ movie but it is a great movie to see in a theater
From like 19-20 going to the Landmark in Westwood to see the Room with my friends rocked. The Room is such a funny bad movie and itās even better at this theater because of all the canned responses the audience has to the shit happening on screen. its similar to how campy people get with Rocky Horror Picture Show. People throw plastic spoons and loudly jeer at the movie. occasionally Tommy Wiseau and maybe Greg Sestero will show up and you can take a pic. Highly recommend pregaming and then going with your friends at least once
sometimes a specific audience for it will suck but overall it was always pretty fun.

New York's Hottest Club is....Film Noir Cinema's Thursday Night Film Club! On April 18th at 9PM I'll be showing a personal favorite film of mine at the greatest little theatre in the city, so come on down to 122 Meserole Avenue in Greenpoint. Tickets are $10 cash, $5 beers and $3 sodas, plus a myriad of pierogi joints nearby for you to grab a bite at beforehand.

My favorite manga Iāve ever read. Last summer I pulled an all-nighter and binged the entire thing in one go. Such a brutal read. Love exists in many forms and the way the manga explores this concept is so so stellar. Definitely a big inspo for me and a must read in my eyes. Whether you like shonen or not, it's undeniably great.

Me and my friend Luke from Wavedash played a lot of Pokemon Nuzlocke runs in the green room on tour. A Nuzlocke run is essentially just a custom ruleset intended to make the pokemon game series harder. You can alter the code of your game file, using a ROM hack on your computer, and you can make it so every single encounter with a pokemon is completely randomized. So you might be just starting the run leaving littleroot town or whatever and you might see a Rayquaza or something as one of the first pokemon you encounter. Every pokemon is randomized so even like other trainer battles you have no idea what youāre up against. And thereās a bunch of house rules that you follow while playing so like whenever your pokemon faints in battle, you canāt use them anymore so theyāre essentially dead for good hahaha. Super good way to pass the time.
