📿I’m almost always wearing jewelry that’s meaningful, whether it was a gift from someone or something i bought that reminds me of someone. I also think you can add meaning to things by making them important, like my favorite ring, which I bought just because I love it but now feels like a part of my self because I wear it so much.
In my car, I have a few charms on my mirror: -evil eye from Turkey, where my mom lived for a few years when she was a kid -silver kokopelli charm that has my grandmothers initials and says “her car” on it 🥹 -silver colored sea creature bouquet on a keychain that my little brother gave me when he was small -beaded rainbow octopus from a trip to California to visit family
Also a big fan of collecting good rocks on trips and sometimes I’ll carry one of them in my pocket.

🍬I think the joy of candy is akin to the joy of nicotine, or the joy of going viral. While these dopamine hits may not be conducive to a traditional steady and meaningful life I think it is important to know where you are and meet yourself there. My favorite lollipops are See’s vanilla lollipops and the carmel and green apple lollipops. I also like mallow cups, nerd ropes, three musketeers, payday’s, justin’s peanut butter cups, licorice yorkie dogs, peach gummies, hamburger and pizza gummies, and chocolate. When i eat chocolate i feel like a woman.

💆I always turn to VO5 shampoo or the green Suave bottle. Sometimes you need your head to be fresh and clean and this is what shampoo is for. But I don’t really understand paying large amounts of money to degrease my hair. VO5 is a good way to fly under the radar and it provides really consistent results. Every time I use a shampoo that’s weird or nice I never know what I’m going to look like when I wake up. I specifically enjoy the strawberries and cream flavor of VO5, I like seeing the picture of the strawberry on the bottle and I like the Pepto Bismol color. I’m remembering now too that this is what my dad and grandfather both used to buy for me and I think that’s cute.
