My sister has gotten me pretty hooked to Voluspa's reed diffusers. Out of series of essential oils, my favorite is Santal Vanille. If you're into woody and musky scents, this one is it. If you're familiar with Le Labo's Santal, it's pretty similar but with a tad more vanilla. They have a wide range of scents, and each scent comes in different vessels such as candles and room sprays as well if you're not into reed diffusers.

A candle that is the perfect balance of masculine and feminine. Our most frequently asked question in the shop is “what are you burning?” and the answer is this candle.

If you’re tired of the typical floral, fruity, and baked goods candles, please give a few of MALIN+GOETZ’s candles a shot. They make super interesting candles and scents like dark rum and leather. And no, they don’t smell like dark rum or leather, they’re inspired by it.If can’t smell these in person and still want to expand your scent palette, Nordstrom has a smaller set of their dark rum, leather, and cannabis.

Among other things. Smell is such an important part of having a comfortable home to me. You don’t want to overdo it obviously and have your place smelling like a high school kid sprayed an entire can of Axe inside but a little fragrance absolutely makes a difference and improves your mood. Bonus having seasonal scents, now with colder coming on I like earthy, woodsy, smoky, leathery even scents. One of my favorites for the season in the link, Kobo Modena Leather.

I’ve never been to Disney as a kid and as I grew older I always felt like I was too old for it. I spontaneously tagged along with my family the day before they left and I think that was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m a huge fan of Star Wars and Avatar, and even as an adult I think I had the best week of my life and I felt like a kid again. I legitimately had real tears of joy on some of the rides. It’s never too late!

While everyone is raving about their trendy nonstick pans, I’m here to bring the spotlight back to cast iron cookware. There’s a huge stigma around how hard it is to take care of cast irons, but it’s really not bad! You just gotta keep using it, and over time, it basically becomes nonstick. This article has sent off a tangent, and now I am a proud owner of a well-seasoned cast iron pan and griddle.

Antique shops have a special place in my heart because it reminds me of my childhood road trips. When I was little, I always thought antique shops were just useless junk. As I grew older, I’ve learned to appreciate the “junk” a bit more. Browsing through the aisles, they kind of feel like a time machine. My top things to look out for are vintage cameras, dutch ovens, and vintage porcelain.
