Every summer I choose a piece of clothing to wear until it falls apart. Last summer I found old dishwasher uniform pants and wore them essentially every day. This summer I've decided on the blue striped button down. Unbutton a few buttons and you give off the perfect look of "I left from the office so I’m late to this pool party” vibe. Right now my favorite is from my friends at another aspect, but I also purchased too many on eBay.

👔I have been pretty into oversized business longsleeve shirts. I like to wear them to bed with nothing else. I like to messily wear them in their wrinkly glory with one button buttoned over a pair of fancy pants. My fav is a blue pinstripe one.

👔Button up? Button down? You can find a big white button up at any thrift store (check for stains, though) or I also like this one from Entireworld. I love a good collared shirt, and a white button up is both ~chill~ and ~chic~ and also works for like any temperature. I know you all have one laying around from your embarrassing Risky Business or Mia Wallace Halloween costumes from college.

I have a whole blog and ig explaining what and why...
but to break this recent outfit down: a navy blazer, an ecru broadcloth button down, a silk knit tie, a pair of wide fatigues, and some suede loafers. Oh, and a chambray hat.
I went to an event for Buck Mason (a pretty rugged brand) held in conjunction with J. Mueser (a bespoke tailoring brand based in NYC), and I was already planning to blend most of these pieces as an earth tones / casual tailoring type of outfit, so it felt like the perfect moment to bust out this exact outfit.

🦪We have all been on the pearl necklace kick for quite a minute now. I myself have gone through many pearl phases. The anklet is the next step in your pearl based lifestyle. 🏠I went on a deep HGTV dive in the early pandemic times and find myself constantly going back. It has truly everything from strange homes that look like fruits to competitive antiquing. I put on flea market flip to fall asleep some nights, a show where “designers” take things from flea markets and somehow always make them significantly uglier.

🍹I usually rely on a martini or a Negroni, but when I want something a bit lighter, but still with some punch ive been reaching for a rum and tonic. You can try it with every kind of rum until you find the one that speaks to you. Just make sure to use a nice rum and a lot of lime.
