Anyone out there love the Bachelor as much as me? One of the hosts of this pod, Rachel Lindsay, was a contestant years ago, and then became the first Black bachelorette. And yes, she actually married the guy she chose! She also happens to be an attorney and is extremely smart. Now she and her cohost Van Lathan dissect pop culture, sports, politics... and IYKYK that #bachelornation is going through some serious upheaval, which makes this required listening.

My husband and I legit cannot wait to listen to the weekly bonus episode every week together, and I have a group chat dedicated to podcast lore. Sexy Unique Podcast is a pop culture podcast hosted by Lara Marie Schoenhals and Carey O'Donnell, where they recap reality tv shows in the most hilarious and epic way. There are tons of inside jokes so give yourself a handful of episodes to get to know the vocabulary. Highly recommend their Vanderpump Rules recaps.

Someone on Reddit recommended this one to me. The premise is two practicing lawyers talk about lawsuits in the reality TV world (there are a lot of them right now). They have some really interesting insights into these cases and it makes for a really enjoyable listen while just working on stuff.

This is probably the most old lady thing I'll ever do, but here I am recommending dried fruit. You know when you're used to the grocery store version of something, and then you have an excellent version, and it's just like... a completely different thing? That happened to me when I first bought a nice bottle of olive oil. And also when I ordered from Apricot King. I love dried apricots on my oatmeal, and now I'm spoiled beyond return. I just turn my nose up at those dumb bags of stupid apricots at the grocery and keep on walkin.

I've never been a drinker... until motherhood. Now at the end of the day I don't mind something to take the edge off.  Not to mention the slog of winter is upon us, and all I want is to think of the warm weather - enter the Aperol Spritz. It's the perfect end-of-day drink for me because it's not too strong (I'm breastfeeding). But I can't get through a whole bottle of prosecco before it goes flat, so I've been getting 4 packs of cans of prosecco. Did everyone else know this trick already?! It feels like a stroke of genius to this sleep deprived gal.

I don't know how I stumbled on Katie Lee Biegel's IG, explore page probably? But her IGTV channel is exactly the amount of effort I want to be putting in to my cooking these days. I recently became a mom, and so did she, so I probably am feeling extra kindred. But do me a favor, go watch and make yourself a Backpack Bagel! I've been having them multiple times a week.
