This absolute rollercoaster of a show tackles racism in America in the 50s through horror and fantasy. It’s honestly one of the wildest shows I’ve seen this year. For someone who grew up in New England, I couldn’t stop thinking about how the Jim Crow era was just 70 years ago. I really enjoyed how the storyline weaves in historical events often neglected in classrooms. Jordan Peele directed this show (with J.J. Abrams), and if you’ve seen Us or Get Out, it’s very on-brand for Peele. In addition to the amazing storyline, his choice of music for the show was impeccable. Fair warning though, nothing is off the table for this show, expect the unexpected (and a ton of gore).

It’s produced and created by a couple of producers of LOST and stars the actor who played Michael! It has similar elements to LOST but with a horror theme. It takes place in a small town in the middle of the forest that people find themselves in, trapped and unable to leave. They have to solve the mystery of the town and survive the bloodthirsty monsters that roam the streets at night… kind of corny with questionable acting at times but I love it. There have been a few genuinely terrifying moments that made me want to cry and the new season is really fun so far.

Who else watched this???? Absolutely fucked up story and it’s disturbing this is a real story. The producer seems absolutely psychopathic and seems to have little remorse for what he did. I’m happy the guy was able to find some light in all of this, but such a twisted story.

Great show, thought it was gonna be some sort of “haha funny laugh laugh” show when I saw the trailer but it’s actually a really gripping storyline with memorable and deep characters that tackle the complexities of Big Pharma.

I’ve never been to Disney as a kid and as I grew older I always felt like I was too old for it. I spontaneously tagged along with my family the day before they left and I think that was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m a huge fan of Star Wars and Avatar, and even as an adult I think I had the best week of my life and I felt like a kid again. I legitimately had real tears of joy on some of the rides. It’s never too late!

While everyone is raving about their trendy nonstick pans, I’m here to bring the spotlight back to cast iron cookware. There’s a huge stigma around how hard it is to take care of cast irons, but it’s really not bad! You just gotta keep using it, and over time, it basically becomes nonstick. This article has sent off a tangent, and now I am a proud owner of a well-seasoned cast iron pan and griddle.

Antique shops have a special place in my heart because it reminds me of my childhood road trips. When I was little, I always thought antique shops were just useless junk. As I grew older, I’ve learned to appreciate the “junk” a bit more. Browsing through the aisles, they kind of feel like a time machine. My top things to look out for are vintage cameras, dutch ovens, and vintage porcelain.
