I learned recently that we should be drinking 3.7 liters of water a day (2.7 liters for women). It was tough for me to reach that quota because my bottle was so small, and I had to twist the cap every time to take a sip (lol, itās a lot of effort okay?). On a different note, Iāve been trying to ditch Hydroflasks and Swells because they leave the smell of drinks that arenāt water and their straws are really hard to clean (again, first world problems). So Alex told me about Purist. The inside of Purist bottles are constructed with a thin wall of glass, so no smell, and easier to clean, yay! I got the Founder 32oz with a Union top, so itās easy to take a sip and no straws to clean. Itās been about two weeks, and ya boy is a hydrated happy camper.

I am so over the 'here's my twenty-pound water bottle'. No. No more. The 20 oz Klean Kanteen is the perfect size. It fits in the backpack bottle pouch (as all bottles should!). The company is just sweet vibes and they understand colors.

Completely unoriginal take I knowā¦ but if I canāt physically see how much water Iām consuming, I wonāt consume it at all! Also, theyāre dishwasher safe. RIP my Hydroflask (Just kidding. But probably for now.)

Iāve never been to Disney as a kid and as I grew older I always felt like I was too old for it. I spontaneously tagged along with my family the day before they left and I think that was the best decision Iāve ever made. Iām a huge fan of Star Wars and Avatar, and even as an adult I think I had the best week of my life and I felt like a kid again. I legitimately had real tears of joy on some of the rides. Itās never too late!

While everyone is raving about their trendy nonstick pans, Iām here to bring the spotlight back to cast iron cookware. Thereās a huge stigma around how hard it is to take care of cast irons, but itās really not bad! You just gotta keep using it, and over time, it basically becomes nonstick. This article has sent off a tangent, and now I am a proud owner of a well-seasoned cast iron pan and griddle.

Excessively hiking this year has been so fun, but the other half of the fun is the technical hiking apparel that goes with it - oh, and wearing only hiking gear even when Iām not hiking. I really appreciate Japanās love for outdoor style and culture. GO OUTās web magazine has been my daily morning check-in and my biggest outdoor gear inspiration. I recently picked up a few of their physical magazines (itās hard to come by in the US) and I really enjoy flipping through them every now and then. Contrary to typical magazines that weāre used to, GO OUT magazines are basically beefed up catalogs of goodies and collabs that make for great coffee table content.
