My favorite album at the moment and maybe the band of my dreams. “Don’t Look Back” is a perfect song. I won’t admit how many times I’ve run this record down recently. I’ve been holding resentment towards my friends who never told me about it before. You know who you are!!!

Another user on here recommended a song by Amateur Hour so I decided to check them out. The song of theirs that really resonated with me was “…But If Teenage Is Forever You Will Look For Someone Better.” Something about this song brought me back to my 15 year old self, and all the beauty, confusion, and anguish that comes from being a teenager. It’s like listening to a memory. I’ve been listening to it on repeat a lot, and remembering what is was to be her.

I actually have a running list of favorite albums that I keep in my phone because usually when somebody asks me what my favorite of anything is, my mind goes completely blank and I forget any media I have ever consumed.
This is an easy answer for me though, because I often say that this album imprinted on my little 14 year old soul. In general, I do feel that music from our teenage years sticks with us more than any other time. Probably something to do with where our whole beings are at developmentally. I’m sure someone has already looked into it.
This album is such a comfort to me, and feels so much like… me. I got to see the 20th anniversary tour of this album and the Postal Service with my sister and you best believe I cried the entire time.

Another Brooklyn best! A night ping-ponging between Prima & Rhodora ain’t half bad. Closest thing to Cheers i’ve ever experienced: a special place with friends who always know your name. Incredible wine selection too! Some of favorite chefs (Tecla Esposito, Kia Damron, Angela Dimayuga etc) have all done pop-ups there. Perf place 2 be!

I don’t have an obsession, I have a collection. It’s gotten out of hand though. Didn’t make an In/Out list for 2023, but Berets are in for me. Whose got 2 thumbs and 4 berets? This Guy. A raspberry beret and a black one. An Aerosmith beret and one from The1975 merch booth. My finsta is actually Merchcunningham (highly vetted) so uak this is a real lifestyle investment.
