It stands for Voice of the Report of the Week. That’s the guy from YouTube that reviews fast food in a suit. I’m not very interested in fast food but I find the individual behind the reviews interesting, relatable, and refreshing. So this is his podcast. The latest episode is over 4 hours long and consists of him talking to himself about various topics. I’ve become inspired by it and now I do my own talk-to-yourself style podcasts behind a paywall for my Fan Club.

This podcast has ended but their backlog is great. The pop-philosophy channel Wisecrack ran this podcast for a bit where they analyze different movies from a number of different perspectives. One of my favorite episodes is the one they did on the Fyre Festival documentaries where they provided some super interesting analysis of not only how events like this happen but also about the sort of enjoyment is watching it happen. Almost every episode is a banger.

I made a vow to myself in art school to stop listening to artists and start listening to writers because they are WAY better at telling stories/public speaking/giving interviews/talking in general. Rn I'm listening to In Writing with Hattie Crisell and the New Yorker ones like The Writer's Voice. I like In Writing because it's about how they write like literally what their desks look like, what time of day, etc. Demystifies it all a bit

This is my favorite podcast of all time and they just go through 2-3 relatively unknown 60s/70s/80s movies per episode and go in depth about the story but also about the making of and sick background info It’s just so nice to listen in on people talking about something they are so so passionate about And each episode is between like an hour and a half and three hours so there is so much to listen to

I used to work in Manhattan as an “art handler” which means you move art around for people. One of my coworkers went on to become a successful fine artist. He mostly paints these things called “Night Car.” Its very very fun to look at. It’s fine art so basically you either understand it or you are a troglodyte. I can’t afford any of the paintings but he did make me a tiny cheeseburger as a gift one time which is just as good to me because it has a beautiful story.

I can tell when someone doesn’t floss. Everyone should be flossing. It’s terribly important for intimacy and even basic friendships. These are the 5 things in life I am most excited about.

You can inject stuff into your fat layer that is made in a lab but your body thinks it made it itself and it basically is like hacking your body. Have you ever noticed that a famous athlete will tear an “ACL” or something similar that would put you out for six months but they are back in a matter of weeks. Well they are getting injected with BPC-157 and they heal 5x faster than normal. Suzanne Somers is 76 and her husband is ten years older but they have sex 3 times a day because they are injecting PT-141. Epitalon makes rats live 25% longer by lengthening their telomeres, which lets your cells replicate for longer or something. Basically if you inject it into your body you are supposed to live longer like a rat. There are like a million different peptides out there and none of it is regulated as long as they say “not for human consumption” on them. It’s probably the future of medicine and right now it’s the Wild Wild West, like before the government banned LSD.
