The other day I tried freezing pop tarts for the first time. I saw it on the box and, having not known this was even a suggested means of preparing them, felt like I had to see what the hype was about. Pop tarts in general are a pretty sweet rec. Now I know you can have them straight out the wrapper, toasted for a minute, or frozen from the freezer – and they’re all good in their own right.

It’s basically a small oven. Sure, sliced bread, bagels, waffles, but throw some tortillas in that bad boy. A burger bun on the lowest setting? Divine. A hot dog? If you’re quick. Let your little chef out, Ratatouille.

I acknowledge that this is probably one of the coldest takes of all time
But I need to put it down, if only for me
As someone who, doesn’t prefer it, but does rather enjoy cold leftovers, potentially too much sometimes, I think A worthwhile consideration before indulging Is whether or not whatever it is will be exponentially better if warmed up.
Epiphany struck about 3 peanuts in from the refrigerator cold can of boiled peanuts.
Some foods just aren’t built like that, and as much as I attempt to deny it, it would be worth just TRYING to see things as they truly are sometimes

In college I went to the same Mexican place every day for a burrito, got the same coffee at the same Dunkin’ Donuts every morning
Years later im in a new area following the same philosophy, I eat a chicken bruschetta wrap at the same place every time I go out for lunch and still get the same coffee at the same local Dunkin’ Donuts every morning.
I frequent the same full service gas station, go to the same mechanic, Kevin, buy groceries from the same local mart, get my hair cut by the same barber, buy any and all hardware misc from the same little hardware store, Jeds.
When your order gets prepared the second you walk in, and you have a relationship with your daily’s, your life is in a better place.
