My mom used to make it growing up (but you can also get it prepackaged), and I think I’ve decided it’s my most favorite flavor in the world… No, it does not taste like green tea or black tea! Honestly, you’re either going to have it and just be like “yeah, that’s tea” or it will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. I’ve only met one person ever who was equally as obsessed with it as me (a friend’s ex-boyfriend, hope he is well). You can drink it cold or hot :)

Specifically Mugicha from ITO EN. This one is in progress, but fingers crossed. My psychoanalyst said I needed to replace vaping with something else or quitting would be unsuccessful. Enter Japanese Barley Tea. It is caffeine free so I am slamming it morning, noon and night. It helps regulate digestion and sleep (contains fiber + melatonin) - 2 things that get funky when I have tried to quit nicotine in the past. My analyst also thinks the vape satisfies some sort of oral-to-phallus fixation I have (t-y freud). Unfortunately drinking barley tea does not replicate this, but it does address oral fixation in other ways.

I am hooked on it. Trying to drink less coffee and it is helping me slowly I believe … I tried a hibiscus ginger flavor today 🪄 yesterday I had ginger peach and tomorrows flavor is green tea ginger. titled kombucha 1 because i will not stop talking about this. for now…
