sorry i just can’t not hate on it. yes i do like the departed and spotlight and good will hunting and various other boston area movies and stuff... but the current vibes are not for me. no i’ve never been! but i am hating from based on a few experiences with die hard bostonians. so bear with me. i kiiiiind of feel like the city tries to retain this underdog image that just doesnt really apply anymore and probably hasn’t for a while. also i strongly dislike celtics fans and absolutely despise patriots fans. (not just bostonians…but u get the gist) anyway this is kind of unsubstantiated hate and i’m sure there’s a ton of great people there and it’s actually a wonderful place and yes of course blah blah blah don’t generalize a city. but i want to!! so i will!!!
In an appropriate context of course, but the taboo around salaries was born from concealing the fact that women and bipoc made less. Let's be transparent! It's important to benchmark our salaries so that we can make sure we are all getting paid what we deserve!!
My sibs and I are close but we have lots of age gaps and live in different places and have very different lives so we don’t always communicahe a lot. I've started to facetime them constantly to say hi. Sometimes they don't pick up but that is ok. As long as they do sometimes and I can see their face and say hi :)
