aka matzo ball soup. a big, toothsome, fatty hunk of salty carbohydrate mush swimming in hot schmaltzy broth. the good stuff will also have egg noodles and celery and carrots. lot of imposters out there but the best used to be at carnegie deli. i'm sick right now and i wish i had a gallon of that. pure ambrosia.

Canters is my favorite Matzo ball soup in LA. Here's a tip. Sometimes they'll serve it to you with a huge bagel chip. Be sure to ask for the asiago bagel chip if you're there on a bagel chip day. I also like making my own Matzo balls from the mix and placing them in other thin yet fatty salty soups.

MATZO BALL!

Hey we're in the same boat I am also nauseous all the time. I love matzo ball soup soooo much. I get the Manischewitz mix from the grocery store and then add chicken broth salt pepper & parsley. If you're feeling extra fancy/want some kind of other textural element I add chopped carrots and celery sometimes but when I'm not feeling good nothing beats just broth + spheres

there aint a soup in this world can match the zest and salty satisfaction of matzo balls and vegetable broth. Most recipes include poultry fats, just skip ‘em and you’re golden
