I love “Philosophize This!” I’ve been listening for a few years now, and I love how often I find a sort of comfort when the philosopher that he chooses to talk about has an eloquent way of laying the thoughts that are jumbled inside my own head. I don’t always agree with every view he shares, but I find myself becoming more sure and stable in my beliefs when I listen to this podcast. He brings philosophy to a very accessible level while being engaging and relevant.
I think my analyst is Freudian, but I have a soft spot for Jung because my parents are from LA. I love hearing analysts use terms like “the imp of the perverse” to talk about procrastination. I especially love the dream analysis, where they’ll tell some random guy the burning hearth in his dream means he’s taking on a feminine role in his marriage.
Australia directed A24 movie - went for a walk and saw this movie was screening. Had no preconceptions when entering and was absolutely freaked out and blown away. It’s such a dope movie & concept.
Generating music and making artwork when I’m bored. Really cool that there are so many mediums now available and this one is fast and interesting in terms of how you can manipulate its calculations with your wording and coding.
