Something was truly right in the air for cartoons. Aeon Flux, Heavy Metal, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Spicy City, MTV Downtown, etc.... puts you in such a weird mood 🫦
i dont mean bluey even tho bluey is peak TV. but animation is such a rich medium for any demographic and i deeply miss the college stoner era where the plan every night was to just put on something animated. current faves r common side effects (excellent tv show), fantastic planet (1973 sci fi), and great pretender (heist anime) and i am highly open to other suggestions

cartoons i loved growing up that i would still rewatch episodes from: old spongebob, powerpuff girls, phineas & ferb, scooby-doo, lilo & stitch the series, my life as a teenage robot, chowder
