there's a bit of a punk influence but also lots of electronic elements. I'd say this album inhabits a similar realm as Stereolab but without the jazzy bossa-nova type energy. if you want some proper synthPUNK then def listen to ADULT.

more of a recent discovery of mine but i adore this album. it’s got a cocteau twins adjacency in the vocals and feels a little lo-fi but open and reverb-y at the same time. very pretty riffs.

This song came out in 2020. When I first heard it, I thought it was at least 10 or more years old. It has an angry punk energy that evokes like The Clash or The Violent Femmes.
And the music video...intriguing, confusing. Does it fit? I don't know.
