Beautiful pedal steel and it’s oh so sad. A nice reminder that you can record one album of mediocre success and die and then 50 years later some random fuckhead can find it and reintroduce it to the snobs of the modern era
'Lulu' was one of the last projects lou reed completed after becoming terminally ill and it is borderline unlistenable. ugly, ugly music. HOWEVER i still fuck w/ it heavy because this is the exact album i would make if i knew for sure i was about to die :)
whenever i start to have the thought of “why isn’t xyz more famous?? they’re so good” i try to remember that widespread fame is not every artists ultimate aim. anyway kilo kish deserves the love and adoration of a stadium full of screaming fans
