no but literally brother is one of the more well-regarded brands! singer is also great. i recommend doing some poking around online for sewing magazines’ lists of best machines and also sewing forums lol that have people talking about their opinions on various sewing machines, to see what would work best for you.
some of the new ones in particular have a ton of functions but if you realistically won’t use them it’s better to get something simpler. depending on what models you find interesting, you might also consider looking into getting a refurbished one?
edit: also if it’s because you want to learn to sew, i’d first try learning by hand and borrowing/renting a machine (many libraries / community spaces do this) and try practicing some basic stuff to make sure you like it. before investing in your own machine
